Our Manley Wildcats are proud to be the 2022-2023 High School Basketball City Champions. This is a significant achievement for our school and basketball program, and it's a testament to the hard work, dedication, and talent of our players, coaches, and staff.
Education Beyond School Walls
At Manley we go above and beyond to ensure that our students have the best opportunities for their future success by arranging college campus trips to historically black colleges and universities at little to no cost for students.
Open to students at all grade levels, our college campus trips ignite a passion for post-secondary success and broaden our students' horizons by exposing them to different regions and cultures.
For many of our students, these trips are the first time they have traveled outside of their hometown. This exposure to new experiences and perspectives is transformative and often inspires students to pursue their dreams.

“Manley’s culinary program has been very successful both as a full-time Career & Technical Education (CTE) course and as an After School Matters program opportunity. This year we started a new curriculum called Prostart, which is provided by the National Restaurant Association. Lessons come from their textbook which has a lot of the college rigor courses included in it, so students interested in pursuing a career in the culinary arts have a head start. ProStart also hosts yearly culinary competitions that our students compete in and have the chance to win up to $50,000 in scholarship money.”

After School Matters provides students with paid apprenticeship opportunities allowing students to gain hands-on experience, learn new skills, and receive guidance from expert instructors.

Music is an integral part of our culture, and at Manley we believe in the power of music education to shape young minds and provide a well-rounded educational experience. One of the highlights of our music program is our choir. Our choir provides students with the chance to improve their vocal skills, work as a team, and perform for their peers and the wider community.
JROTC Program
Developing Tomorrow's Leaders Today
The Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps (JROTC) program is a valuable opportunity for high school students to develop leadership skills, while developing self-confidence, teamwork, and communication skills that will benefit them in all aspects of life. Additionally, the program offers students an opportunity to earn scholarships and participate in leadership camps and other activities that can enhance their college applications.
